Job Brief

As a Fulfilment Floor Supervisor at Autofulfil, you will have the opportunity to build, lead and develop your own team of Operations Operatives. You will be responsible for engaging and motivating the team during operational shifts to maintain the highest level of safety, quality, productivity, and Operative retention. To achieve this, you will be expected to think critically, provide Operatives with the resources and information needed for success, and to drive productivity and efficiency through data-driven decision making and analytical problem-solving.

What You’ll Do

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Creating and maintaining a safe work environment for all Operatives.
• Developing, maintaining, and communicating performance goals and objectives to deliver upon client objectives.
• Partner with management to establish and maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives within the team.
• Build and execute productivity plans by reviewing work forecasts, determining productivity requirements, and partnering with the Operations Manager and other Fulfilment Floor Supervisors to balance labour.
• Lead and develop a team of Operatives.
• Be the escalation point for all client queries and deal with stock shortages and damages.
• Stay up to date on internal processes and policies and communicate those to the team and act as the primary information source, maintain compliance and consistency, and take corrective action when required.
• Ensure adherence to all safety and security procedures within the team and in all working environments.
• Create, manage, and support Operatives by providing continuous feedback, recognition, and continuous skills development.
• Other duties as required by management.2+ years previous supervisory experience leading and motivating teams; industry background in hospitality, restaurant, manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or fulfilment.

What You’ll Need

• 2+ years previous supervisory experience leading and motivating teams; industry background in hospitality, restaurant, manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or fulfilment.
• Leaving Certificate or Diploma highly desired.
• Proven ability to manage, motivate, direct, lead, train, and develop other team members.
• Superior communication skills both verbally and written. 
• Demonstrated ability to exceed target goals and objectives including examples of accomplishments.
• Able to communicate across multiple channels with different writing formats while staying on brand voice
• You're friendly, empathetic, active listener, and aim to always reach higher
• Commitment to upholding company values and standards with professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Strong technical and analytical skills with moderate capabilities in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Team), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) would be great but not required - we will train you.
